Up for sale is this beautiful 1994 Maton ECW80 C/6.
If you do a bit of research, a lot of people think these mid '90's Matons are the best ones they ever made. This guitar has done a lot of travel, a lot of recording and a lot of gigs. A brilliant guitar in all situations. It's 30 years old now and the timber is really coming into it's own. Never goes out of tune.
I recently spent $500 on this guitar at maton. A top to toe service including fret dress, neck adjustment, and repairs to some small cracks which were done by the Maton luthiers to a highly professional standard. I also updated the preamp to the top of the range Maton AP5. The old one had terrible battery access issues and the new one also has a crisper clearer and richer sound. I have a receipt here from Maton for all this work.
The guitar comes with the original sales pamphlet/warranty card, and the original case that came with it new. It's not a Maton case but it's a proper sturdy flight case. I have padded it out with extra foam for a super snug fit. All clips and hinges are in perfect solid condition. I have flown with this guitar in this case many times and never had a problem with it coming open or the guitar being damaged.
I hate to sell her, but I need the money so she's up for sale.
